Also, in John 14 v 23 "He who has my commandments and keeps them, it is He who loves me" Our love is made perfect through our compliance to the will of God, it becomes stronger, bolder, more deep-rooted! Praise God! Lets walk in Him today and everyday so we may grow more and more in love with our God!

"Meditate on the WORD..." NOT the WORLD, God bless all!
You might be amongst those who keep looking at the dificulties in the world and be thinking Why??
God says "meditate on my word, day and night" (Joshua 1 v 8) NOT the World, He knows it'll sink you, He knows THIS is not our home,we're mere passengers in this world, passing through(you must see it as this) and so we must focus on the goal by meditating on this word continually because ... ITS ABOUT... OUR HOME. This is the way to keep focussed so we don't miss the mark "for narrow is the way to life (heaven) and few are they that find it" Matt 7 v 14. Also "not everyone who says to me 'Lord, Lord' will enter the Kingdom of heaven" Matt 7 v 21. Therefore we must take heed because "the world and its lust are passing away" and it will try to entice you away from God, don't be distracted, we don't want to be amongst those who miss heaven.
Hence brethren let us keep focus on the word, there'll be sufferings along with the lusts of flesh to distract you but alas Paul wrote that THE GLORY to COME is not worthy to be compared to the present sufferings (Romans 8 v 18). When the virgins came knocking on the eternal door, Jesus said "surely, I do not know you" Matt 25 v 1-13. Brothers and sisters, DON'T LET US USE THIS LIFE TO DESTROY OUR HEAVENLY HOME! The Bible says "WHAT IS THE POINT OF GAINING THE WORLD, IF WE LOSE OUR SOULS?" Luke 9v25.What-IS-the-point? There isn't.
If you do care for those suffering, do your bit, but ABOVE ALL GET THE GOSPEL TO THEM for THIS alone has the power to SAVE THEM;YOU can fund MISSIONARIES or please, please take Jesus out to the world, SO THEY CAN BE SAVED AND JOIN YOU IN PARADISE- THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN, OUR GOD.
Let us do well to people for this is but a journey and walk in the way of God; God bless!

The LAW of CONSISTENCY
Consistency was the topic preached to us in our Church last week and I would like to share it with you in this blog. God desires us to be consistent in all facets of our lives... (and in the case of this blog) in serving Him. In 1 corrinthians 15 v 58, the Apostle Paul wrote that we should be "steadfast (resolutely or dutifully firm), immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord ". In other words brothers and sisters, WE SHOULD BE CONSISTENT IN DOING THE THINGS OF GOD, we don't just decide to be hot for God in one moment and to be cold for Him the next.. it doesn't work. When we are consistent in DOING the things of God our character is built up, WE BUILD OUR SPIRITAL MUSCLES..HALLELUYAH!!!
GALATIANS 6 V 9 iwas another powerful verse that shed light on this topic -"...let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall REAP IF WE DO NOT LOSE HEART". If we continue in those things of God, He says we will be rewarded. It is the way of God, He wants consistency from us; He said to Abraham "walk before me and be blameless" The Bible recorded in Acts 10 v 2 that Cornelius "PRAYED TO GOD ALWAYS" then in verse 4, the angel of the Lord told Cornelius " your prayers...have come up for a memorial before God".
God gave Cornelius what He needed; let us be steadfast in those things of God, like evangelism, praying, meditating of the word, cleaning the house of God etc.
Pastor told us to identify those things blessing our lives, that we should DO THEM AND CONTINUE IN THEM and it'll keep blessing us.. So I prayerfully wrote a list of these activities...DO THE SAME TODAY-write your list.

DANCE the dance that will put your enemies to FLIGHT!
One night, as I rejoiced in the Lord, I danced to God with so much fervour that God struck it into my heart that all the forces of darkness are fleeing, hence this title: dance the dance that will put your enemies to flight! King Jehoshaphat got his victory in a similar way; when Moab, Ammon and Mount Seir all rose up against Judah, King Jehoshaphat did not know what to do but God said he should not "be afraid nor dismayed because of this great multitude for the battle is not yours, but God's".
Believing this, Jehoshaphat "appointed those who should sing to the Lord and who should praise the beauty of holiness as they went out before the army.."The Bible records that "when they began to sing and to praise, the Lord set ambushes..." against these armies. Brothers and sisters in the Lord, FIRST, the army of Ammon and Moab rose up against the army of Mount Seir "to utterly kill and destroy them" THEN they rose against each other and "helped to destroy one another". Jehoshaphat took the word of God and began to rejoice; YOU, believe that GOD HAS ANWSERED YOUR PRAYERS and begin to DANCE of victory, be practicing your dance of victory- a DANCE MARATHON! the dance that will put the forces of darkness to flight! When you praise Him He will be so PLEASED to work GREAT WONDERS for you, to surprise you- you are praising Him- He loves it!!
When God sees His children exalting Him, He DEALS SEVERELY with those DARING TO DO THEM HARM! When Micah despiced David for dancing so excessive to God, God took it personal and punished Micah with no child.
You want God to work for you...DANCE the dance that will put the forces of darkness to flight!

"TO EVERYTHING THERE IS A SEASON..."
Few days ago I decided enough of viewing sections of my life with pity; they happened because that was the season for them- I had to go through it that time. You see there are certain times and situations we have to go through in life as christians; they would work to develop us in God, their purpose will be to build our characters. However when you are consistent in God, "steadfast and immovable" (1 corrinthians 15 v 58) He will work for in you.
Before, I went though times where I wanted to give up, things were just not working for me, now things are changing now, I've developed from that time and now God is working great manifestions in me. You see "to everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven: a time to be born, and a time to die..." Ecclesiastes 3 v 1 .There's time for everything God wants to do in the lives of His children, be patient through the time of trials and be consistent in serving Him. The Bible says Cornelius "prayed always" but AT THE TIME God directed Him to Peter. Brothers and sisters, God knows what you need; AT THE SEASON FOR IT God will do it in your life just continue in Him.
The Bible says "count it all joy when you fall into various trials knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience" Take joy that the people of the world go through troubles for nothing but you have hope in Christ , you're going through it for a desired end to further your faith in Christ. "Count it all joy..." God says, so begin to count it joy in your situation right now, be joyful for there is a desired end, its for a reason, you're gaining more!.
Brothers and sisters continue in Him and be consistent!

TESTIMONY DAY
Let me share with you shortly, my testimonies today-
To begin with, on our way to my brother's school in the morning we missed a series of buses, yet the one we took few minuites later overtook two of these buses.Afterwards I went to do my hair but the shops weren't opened yet. When I returned back I didnt leave enough time to finish it, I decided I would come back to finish off my hair in exchange for picking up my brother on time . First of all...my hair got done before I left, I left the place later than intended and decided picking my brother on time had been cancled by the finishing of my hair- I figured I couldn't eat my cake and have it at same time (couldn't have everything). It turns out this is how God works with those He loves. I miraculously got there just in time to pick my brother.
A lovely day, and do you know the greatest thing, I knew it was God, it was as if things had to work out together for me. Listen we are special, Romans 8 v 28 says "All things work together for those who love God and to the called according to His purpose". You are God's child, there is a special favour following you about. Activate it by serving Him trully, you'll be finding favour in the least expecting places, God will make things work together for you, this He does for thse who serve Him faithfully; serve Him faithfully today! Amen.
